
This campaign was aimed at 17-29 year olds who are generally riding around on small engined motorcycles. In many cases when accidents happen too often riders don't have the skills to handle their bikes and they don't wear the appropriate clothing.

There are still a number of youngsters within Merseyside crashing their cars between 9pm and 6am on our roads. The campaign was aimed to remind young people of the risks and dangers they face on the roads and to try to persuade them to drive and behave in a fashion likely to minimise these risks.

It is hard to do two things at once and research has shown that if you are whilst driving, you are four times more likely to have a crash. Your reaction times are even worse than if you were driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Stay Alive Stay Safe awareness for older road users within Merseyside explored travelling safely, whether as a motorist or pedestrian, improving driving skills and looking at other ways of getting around.

Merseyside Road Safety Partnership's christmas anti drink drive campaign was launched in December. It was aimed at all drivers, with a particular focus on, if your convicted for drink driving, it potentilly is a life changing experience. Being caught and breathalysed could result in a twelve month ban, a criminal record, a hefty fine and the loss of your job.
